You will be accomodated in our partner B&B. Each room sleeps 2 or three, for extra cost we can arrange lodging in single room.

Summers are very hot in Salento. If you choose to come between May and August, be prepared for the heat and humidity. You can check the weather at and see the temperature archive for each month.


As mentioned several times, Salento is all about food. Plenty of seafood, fish, pasta. Dare to discover and don’t be afraid to taste unusual fruits (prickly pear or “cachi”), vegetables (chicory) or and other regional specialties (marked as IGP or DOP). Do a research in advance and once here, try the horse meat, “burrata” , fava beans, fennel taralli, “friselle” or “lampascioni”! Click on the links below to read more about some great food.
